Starting in fall 2021, first-year students will be required to attend a first-year seminar (FYS) during their first two semesters at WSU. The FYS course must be completed in fine arts or humanities or social/behavioral sciences. All other students must take an additional technical course of their choice. As a computer science major, you can choose to pursue a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts program. Students in the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science must complete applied learning or research experience to complete the program. The requirement can be met by completing the two synthesis design experiments consisting of ECE 585 and ECE 595.
